Sanding and coating a floor requires experience and knowledge of the timber being sanded, whether it be hardwoods (such as spotted gum, Tasmanian oak, blackbutt, Sydney blue gum, jarrah, Ironbark) or softwoods such as cypress pine. Richard will assess your floor, establish the type of timber, and recommend a coating appropriate for the timber species, your design and decorating requirements. 

 The transformation from a tired looking deck to a freshly sanded and coated deck can be so stunning, that you will want to upgrade your furniture and show it off to your friends.

However, not only, is there an aesthetic consideration, there is also a functional consideration, as decking timber is subject to deterioration from rain which causes rot. As well, the harmful effects of UV rays cause timber to warp and split.
